Thinking of the Customers; Advanced Care Was Born.
To commercial car owners, time is money. When something wrong occurs with his/her automobile, it will be a huge issue.
Advanced Care program is Korea’s first active care service for commercial vehicles that assists preemptive contact and repair service by utilizing DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) information collected through Hyundai Motors’ connected car service ‘Blue Link.’ Big size truck ‘Xcient Pro’ is its first subject. Being the ‘first’ in the industry means we were not able to see such active care service for commercial vehicles in Korea. How was Advanced Care created?
Hyundai Motors continuously contemplated upon ‘how to reduce commercial car owners’ TCO (Total Cost of Ownership)’ as well as ‘taking on the role of a proper business partner’ as commercial vehicles are automobiles used for the customers’ livelihood. Commercial vehicles cause loss and damage when the automobile suffers from error and takes a break from operation; failure to make a delivery in time can cause loss in business or one may lose a whole day’s profit while the automobile goes through repair. Advanced Care began with the question ‘what if we could immediate assist repair when our customer’s automobile breaks down.’
Active and Swift Resolution for Commercial Vehicle Customers’ Questions and Anxiety
Blue Link is a connected car service that allows remote automobile control, management and road guidance.
Advanced Care provides its service based on the information collected through Blue Link. The customer center makes continued monitoring of DTCs collected through Blue Link. When an error element that may affect the automobile’s driving capacity and powertrain, the customer center counselor makes a phone call to the customer and makes an update on such news. The phone call also assists repair reservation and/or emergency dispatch service. Major selected DTCs regard powertrain and brake system, etc., which are related to the basic automobile driving capacity. Low engine rail pressure sensor signal or high pressure sensor signal of an electronic air processing device is considered as major DTC. There are about 200 DTCs that can be monitored; more will be recognized and updated as the service is being operated.

You have to join Blue Link to get Advanced Care.
All Xcient Pro owners can receive Advanced Care. But as the service is provided based on data collected through Blue Link, one must join Blue Link. Also, customers who have agreed to provide marketing information for Blue Link are provided with the service after going through program introduction and additional agreement process. So, if you have purchased Xcient Pro, joined Blue Link service and have agreed to provide marketing information, you will be able to receive Advanced Care after going through additional agreement process. This includes free services such as receiving continuous customer center automobile monitoring as well as emergency dispatch, checkup reservation, etc. Automobile status car owners fail to notice will also be thoroughly monitored by the customer center; so be assured and drive away. If you are disappointed because you think Advanced Care is only applied to Xcient Pro, don’t be! When the service is stabilized, it will be expanded to Blue Link applied models.
Also, Hyundai Truck & Bus app allows self-diagnosis and repair of commercial vehicles.
While you are waiting for Advanced Care, you can first join Blue Link because joining alone opens up a variety of services. Joining Blue Link service allows remote start-up and climate control as well as numerous functions that can help with automobile management such as fuel efficiency driving guidance and automobile status check. Since there is Blue Members for cars, there is a separate membership just for commercial vehicle customers. Joining the commercial vehicle membership will begin with receiving a joining gift, followed by a discount on fuel cost and consumables. There are also events and promotions just fort the membership customers. Blue Link service can be joined through the Truck & Bus homepage or app. Truck & Bus app provides automobile self-diagnosis service, repair reservation and Bluehands repair shop guidance for commercial vehicles.
