“Will we be able to stay together there?” If you are a proud dog owner, this would be the first question you ask about the accommodation before your upcoming trip. In a picturesque village of ‘Pado-ri, Sowon-myeon’, located along a small beach in Taean, there is a picturesque dog residence named ‘Mungzip’. Husband and wife who are in love with dogs created this special place. The husband, architect Shin Hyun-bo, designed the pace himself in consideration of the ‘dogs’ happiness and coexistence with nature’. This place goes beyond allowing dogs into the human-oriented facility but allows the dogs to enjoy a vacation with the owners in a place created from the dogs’ perspectives.

The first thing you notice upon entering the place is the huge grass playground where the dogs hangout and the two-floor building that goes well with the greenery. The lower floor operates as a guesthouse whereas the top floor is occupied by the owner husband and wife. Windows come down to the floor so that the dogs will be able to admire the landscape without hindrance. All rooms have access to the grass playground and common kitchen. Floor heating and air conditioning also took into consideration the fact that the dogs prefer cool temperature. This is to make sure that you and your dog have a comfortable time away from home. In Mungzip, you are guaranteed a memorable vacation with your dog.

The beer list is updated every two months among great breweries around the country. It’s now known to the Tongyoung locals as a place where you can experience various types of handcrafted beer.

A meditation of looking back at ‘myself’ is the epitome of true relaxation. Meditating in a quaintly decorated room will bring out your inner peace. There’s also a small meditation room on the 3rd floor, where you can use the music player there to fall deep into meditation. If your body and mind have been tired from all the work, we recommend a night at the Mireukmireuk Beer Hostel, where there is beer and meditation.
