The GENESIS G90 special edition "Stardust" has been made like the custom-made suit "haute couture," which features the delicate touch and philosophy of designers and the best materials. Let's take a look at the beautiful figure with artworks.
#1 Capturing starlight: The Stardust special edition

GENESIS built ten units of the G90 special edition in 2017 and 2018, and came back with a more customized limited-edition model as well as further improved ones. The G90 Stardust takes its inspiration from a scene with night sky full of stars hanging above a red carpet event where celebrities are showered with flashing camera lights.
The interior boasts bespoke seats featuring two-tone Napa leather and metallic pore ash wood providing an elegant environment exclusively tailored for the select few.
The combination of vic black and carbon metal makes the luminous stars of night. This posh two-tone paintwork required specialized craftsmanship. For the interior, pearl-coated sterling gray leather and metallic pore black ash wood were used for an exquisite look. Special lettering was applied on various parts including the doors and puddle lamps.
#2 Special collaboration to express the splendor of Stardust GENESIS G90 Special Edition Stardust X Jinnie Seo
Jinnie Seo said that she would like to express the interior experience of the car using leather bands if she could collaborate with GENESIS again.
GENESIS held a special event to commemorate the release of the G90 Stardust special edition in collaboration with Jinnie Seo, an artist based in Korea who crosses the boundaries of drawing, painting, architecture, and installation art. She conveys the elegance and mystical sparkle of the G90 Stardust on the road in her installation art made using only steel bands.
The curvature at the wall is a representation of the airflow created when the G90 Stardust is running on the road.
Jinnie Seo says steel is from nature and the best material to express energy as a form of movement. She expresses the elegant appearance and dynamism of G90 Stardust by overlapping steel bands against the walls of the GENESIS Studio Hanam. In addition, mirror-like reflective metal plates were installed on the floor, to bring out the true beauty of the two-tone color paintwork and to allow viewers to truly appreciate the G90 Stardust.
Jinnie Seo harmoniously combines the three elements of nature, technology, and art into her work
I envisioned the two-tone colors of carbon metallic and vic black, the way the G90 Stardust will move and turn, and the way the light will reflect when the car is on the road in motion. And I created this landscape through that. So, in a sense, the installation represents the structure of the movement. - Jinnie Seo
